This Piece of the Moment is a 9ct yellow and white gold ring, featuring a Half carat/5mm Blue Diamond that is flawless.
All the gold used in this unique piece is Recycled, the Diamond is Lab-Grown, which means no-one had to risk their lives working hundreds of metres below the ground to get this gem, plus no-one had to dig a great big hole in the planet, which makes this piece as Eco-Friendly as possible!
All my pieces are hallmarked in accordance with the UK’s legislation. My ‘Makers Mark’ is on my pieces and proves
that I, and I alone, made that piece. My hallmark is registered to me at Birmingham’s Assay office.

This week I are mostly been doing this!
To ease myself back into work mode after being so ill for over a month, I have made a lovely lidded box out of Golden Madrone. It is 9 cm high and 4.5cm across.
Also I have modified one of my earrings by adding a 7mm x 5mm oval Sapphire which I set in 18ct white gold.
Maybe I can do some real work now.

As many of you will know, I have been really ill for over four weeks.
But I think I am getting a little better now, I have a bit more energy but I still have to take it easy - do a bit, rest a lot for now.
To cheer myself up a bit, I made myself a new earring.
I bought an old ring from someone I know, melted it down and made myself this!
It is 3mm square 9ct gold, twisted, then made into a hoops about 20mm across.
I will be back in my normal place on Friday and Saturday at the Indoor Market in the Shambles, Stroud, Glos.

I have been working from home today.
I wanted to make some rings with large gemstones in them.
This is the first:- a 22mm x 16mm Leopard Skin Jasper gemstone, set in pure silver on a Sterling Silver band, with silver shoulders.
Would you rather buy a piece of quality handmade jewellery made from British gold or silver, or some third rate foreign stuff which is cheap?
This is my jewellery workbench this morning, it shows two pieces I am working on. One in Sterling Silver and one in 9ct yellow Gold.
